Grouup Class Rules and Regulations:
To ensure a safe and productive experience for all dogs and owners, please follow these important class rules:
Dog Etiquette & Safety
Dogs must be kept apart at all times.
Keep your dog on a short leash and do not allow them to run up to other dogs. Some dogs need space and may react negatively if approached.Meet & greets will be conducted only under trainer supervision as part of class exercises.
If your dog is sick, please keep them at home until they are well.
Female dogs in heat must wear sanitary pants to attend class.
Treats & Rewards
Bring plenty of high-value treats! Here are some examples:
Hotdogs, chicken, cheese, leftovers—whatever your dog loves!
Treats must be PEA-SIZED, no matter your dog’s size.
Bring a variety of treats so your dog stays motivated.
Only give treats when your dog does something you've asked—he must earn them!
Use biscuits or dental chews if you want to reward your dog just for being cute.
Leftover treats? Freeze them for your next class.
Before Class Prep
Do not feed your dog before class. A slightly hungry dog is more motivated to learn.
Have an energetic dog?
Exercise him 30 minutes before class—throw tennis balls, go for a run, or play!
(Don’t worry if he doesn’t bring the balls back—you’ll get your workout collecting them!)
Attendance & Communication
If you can’t attend a class, please call and leave a voicemail.
We don’t want the group waiting for someone who won’t be there.
Dress for Success
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes—we train on grass, so proper footwear is essential.
Following these guidelines will help ensure your dog (and you!) get the most out of class. We can’t wait to see your progress!
